Boyanup Primary School is a Level 4 Public School in the South West of Western Australia. The school caters for students from Kindergarten to Year Six with an experienced teaching staff of eleven and support staff of nine. You can learn a lot about our school by walking around and observing. Our school has a welcoming and cheerful atmosphere which immediately creates a sense of belonging.
In keeping with our motto ‘Your Child, Your School, Your Community’, our school reflects the importance we place on individual students and the active role the local communitycommunitycommunity community plays in the school. We pride ourselves on the opportunities we provide to cater for the range of individual learning abilities in our students, ensuring they develop the knowledge and skills to adapt to a changing world. We offer a broad curriculum, including Visual Art, Music and Media as specialist programmes.
Our school infrastructure includes a purpose built library, art room, staffroom, a large covered assembly area and canteen. There are 6 dedicated classrooms, including 2 specialist Early Childhood rooms. In the Administration block there is a central office, First Aid room, 2 offices and 2 meeting rooms.
Information Communication Technology is an important part of our students learning programme. Boyanup Primary School has one computer lab situated in the library and there are computers and iPads in every classroom. All classes from Kindergarten to Year 6 have an interactive whiteboard that is utilised extensively in lessons.
